Project Description

Stories from the Frontline of Change

In addition to turning teens into storytelling machines, for the past four years we’ve facilitated digital storytelling workshops with non-profits to help tell meaningful stories about Japanese American internment. To date, our students have created over 20 videos about this important subject.

There’s no greater source for Transformative Stories than those told by non-profits. Every organization’s unique mission statement is ripe with profound narrative. Narrative which springs to life and accelerates change once unlocked…and we know VIDEO is the key. Nothing transports a viewer quicker to a cause than a well-crafted video. Nothing transforms a static mission statement into an actionable rally cry like a moving short film.

What story is your non-profit looking to boldly tell? Contact us to discuss how a digital storytelling workshop or event could help.

Promote the Cause to Fund the Change

With thousands of charities competing for precious life-saving dollars, how does one organization stand out from the money hungry pack? Video.

Video. A collection of moving images and sounds that not only tell a story but transport the viewer into the story. Trying to reach the “show me” generation without video is a missed opportunity.

Thousands of “hilarious” cat videos have proven: Anyone can shoot video. It takes a team of seasoned story specialists to turn those moving images into images that move an organization closer to its fund-raising goals.
